Committees and Offices

For officers, we have COO and CEO. Send resume (include a phone number on your resume) to Coach K by 3pm, 4/29/19 to run for an office. Resumes will be uploaded to website to be reviewed by voters.

The CEO is responsible for having a personal way to contact each senior in order to ensure that each senior has a say in special events.  Also, the CEO assists the Senior Advisor in overseeing the planning of all special senior events including but not limited to writing and sending the invitations to guest speakers, attending board meetings (when necessary), designing forms for polls, updating the senior website, etc.  The CEO gives a speech at Graduation. A CEO needs to be respected and respectful of the entire senior class, organized, timely, diligent, a good orator, and reliable.

The COO is responsible for remaining informed of all upcoming events, keeping the senior class informed of updates and changes, and assisting and filling in for the CEO when necessary. The COO will publish a biweekly newsletter with senior reminders. Because the CEO gives the Graduation speech, the COO traditionally gives a speech at the Baccalaureate service. The COO needs all the same skills as the CEO, as he/she may be required to fulfill the role of CEO.
